RegNow has integrated with Microsoft Digital Locker to allow you to easily add your products to this sales channel.

What is Digital Locker?

As part of the new Windows Marketplace, Digital Locker is a new online distribution solution that simplifies the purchasing experience of downloadable software. Digital Locker provides consumers a consistent, unified, easy to use interface where they can purchase, download and even install products. Microsoft receives millions of unique visitors a day to the Windows Marketplace site.

How to participate?

Log into your control panel and accept the terms & conditions here;

RegNow Improvements to Product Setup UIs

RegNow implements improvements to the Product Setup Wizard and Product Editor. These changes are being made to make the process of managing your products easier and the activation of your products quicker. Both UIs will also have a cleaner and more simplified look.

One of the biggest changes you will notice is that RegNow has automated the activation of simple product setups. As soon as you have completed your product setup for most delivery types, your order page will be ready to take orders. There will no longer be a waiting period before the product goes live.

Global Commission Change

If you have a lot of affiliates, you’ll love this time-saving tool. You can change all of your affiliates’ commission levels at once. You can change your global rate and still leave product-specific rates intact. You can also change both your product specific and global rates all at once. In addition, you can change commissions for specific products by themselves.

Keep in mind that the changes will not be immediate. It takes about 30 minutes for the changes to reflect for your affiliates.

RegNow Rate Reduction Again

RegNow is pleased to announce that they have reduced the rates again. And they’ve even eliminated the affiliate administrative fee. RegNow is 6.9% plus $1.

A downloadable file is required in order to support Extended Download Service (EDS) and CD. The addition of these two service requirements are one of the key factors that make the 6.9% plus $1 possible. Consumers have become increasingly interested in purchasing backup CD’s and download insurance. And RegNow has become very effective at selling these services on your behalf. These two factors, plus the fact that you receive 20% of the sale of each of these items means that your effective rate is actually much less than 6.9% plus $1 (depending upon attachment rates).

RegNow’s New Pricing and Contract Information

With the new pricing option of 16%, RegNow updated the entire contract. The core contract is the same, but changing the style makes it easier to comprehend and the “legal speak” that can be confusing has been removed.

Changes in the laws over the years about trademarks, like the DMCA, SPAM, etc were not added previously to RegNow’s contract and by outlining them we clearly lay out the needed requirements to ensure our mutual interests are covered by the contract with RegNow.

Q: Will my old contract be terminated if I don’t sign the new one?

A: Absolutely not!!! The new contract is completely optional.

New RegNow Setting - Support Email Address by Product

RegNow vendors can now add support email addresses at a product level. By default, the support email address in your account settings will display. If you wish to change the support email address at the product level, it will override the account settings.To add the support email address at the product level, log into the admin screens, click on “Products” from the left hand menu. Choose which product you want to “Edit” and once the edit screens pop up choose the “General” Tab and look for the setting called “Support Email”.

The change will immediately be reflected on all future orders.
