eSellerate Extends the Embedded Web Store SDK to 64-Bit UB Support
Posted in eSellerate on the October 14th, 2008
After several months of use in beta form, version 4.0 of the Embedded Web Store SDK for Macintosh is now available for general release. This is a major update with new capabilities that include:
- Garbage collection
- 64-bit Universal Binary suppor
- Prefilling data into the purchase process
You can download the update at http://www.esellerate.net/downloads
More on the changes in version 4.0
- Works with Cocoa applications that use garbage collection (automatic memory management)
- Supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Universal Binaries
- Can prefill coupons, billing information and other data to simplify the purchase process for your customers
- Includes fixes for various memory leaks
- New system requirements — Mac OS X v10.3.9 for the standard SDK and v10.5 for the garbage-collecting one
To take advantage of the improvements in version 4.0, you will need to recompile your application with the new SDK, and make the update available to your customers. You can find more information on that process and other topics in the release notes that are included with the SDK.
