eSellerate Releases E-Commerce Web Services
Posted in eSellerate on the January 8th, 2007
eSellerate today released the newest addition to its suite of e-commerce technologies, eSellerate E-commerce Web Services. You can use these services to take complete control over the look and feel of the e-commerce process. This cutting-edge technology provides a new and exciting way to have complete ownership of your customer’s purchase experience.
Advantages of eSellerate E-commerce Web Services include:
- Standards-based - sales solution built as a set of XML SOAP Web Services
- Complete UI control - as the developer of the application, you have complete control of the user interface/purchase experience
- Development environment openness - the e-commerce web services may be utilized in any environment that supports web services, such as Cocoa, Java and .NET
- Direct registration submission - registration information is passed directly into the application
- Platform openness - your products may be sold through multiple venues such as from within an application, from a web page, Smartphones, or even gaming consoles
eSellerate E-commerce Web Services are built on eSellerate’s Integrated eSeller platform. One of the requirements for using the services is to set up an Integrated eSeller within your publisher account. Your application will then need to reference that eSeller when making purchase-related queries and requests.
NOTE: eSellerate provides this solution as an alternative for software publishers who desire the flexibility it offers, and have the necessary knowledge to implement it. Users will need a strong understanding of XML SOAP Web Services, XML schema, and the client environment that will interface with the e-commerce web services.
