SWREG Changes
Posted in SWREG on the June 17th, 2006
SWREG has released the new changes to the reoccurring orders. If you log into your store under the master reoccurring order list orders are now sorted by the billing day of the month. It will show the last order number processed, and the month, day, year it completed. This layout allows you to easily determine if an order did not complete. You can also click on the original order or the new order number and see the detail. If the reoccurring order did not process you hit “Process
Order”, and it will create and complete the order for that month.
In the next two weeks, SWREG will include the automatic rebilling functionality for yearly reoccurring orders. The use and implementation of subscriptions has grown over the past year.
Another change is the ###SWREG### token that shows “Powered By SWREG.ORG” has been replaced with the text: “E-commerce services are provided by SWREG, Inc, an e-commerce reseller. Privacy Policy”. The change is a new requirement by credit card companies. If you utilize customized templates, you need to view your order form to check that the text change did not affect your overall layout.
